Centenary College invites applications for a full-time Director of Enrollment Marketing. The Director is primarily responsible for managing the college's inbound marketing efforts and will work closely with the Director E- Marketing. This position reports to the Vice President of Enrollment and School of Professional Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive marketing program to meet the goals and objectives of the College.
Essential Job Function
- Conduct marketing environment analysis (such as examining the competition, trends in education, target market research) to develop current marketing strategies
- Design, implement, and facilitate an annual marketing plan in support of recruitment goals.
- Support and facilitate development and implementation of unit (freshman, Adult, graduate and transfer) marketing plans.
- Develops marketing strategy, based on knowledge of established policy, nature of market, and cost factors.
- Manage marketing campaigns including print, direct mail special events and traditional advertising.
- Monitor plan implementation to make adjustments and improvements.
- Negotiate with media agents to secure agreements and media buys including translation of materials into other media. Develop promotional materials including marketing collateral and print copies.
- Develop and administer a marketing database/ project management system
- Utilize CRM including client and prospect information,
- Plan and administer the Marketing Operations budget.
- Implement marketing effectiveness measures to monitor and improve marketing spend.
- BS/BA in Marketing or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years marketing experience at a small to mid-size college or university preferred
- 2 years experience at Director level or 5 years experience at a Marketing Manager level
- Understanding of higher education market place preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
